SHOPS

For the best local produce, fresh and frozen, visit Hillbillies at Berg Air Lifestyle Centre just 7min drive away.

 

They stock a decent selection of fresh fruit & veg, dairy, meat, preserves & dry goods.

 

Closed Saturday & Sunday.

Cedarwood Village has numerous shops to visit, and their supermarket also stocks convenience essentials including charcoal/firewood and even fishing gear.

A bit more of a drive away (Winterton 30min away) you will find simmies where there is a greater variety on offer, perhaps stock up on your way past to Ama Casa!

CATHEDRAL PEAK WINE ESTATE

Cathedral Peak Wine Estate is worth a visit for scnery and wine tasting alike! There is also a restaurant on site, but call ahead to book.

Dragonview Lodge is quite literally just down the hill from Ama Casa and is a favourite spot for us and for guests to visit. They have a wide menu and delicious food on offer!

Inkungu Lodge is a short drive away and also boasts exquisite views. Call ahead to ensure they are open.

Dragon Peaks Restaurant & Pub is our local watering hole and offers pub grub in a lovely setting overlooking a dam. Easy choice!

Valley Bakery is a great breakfast & lunch spot, with a fantastic selection of breads and deserts as well nearby walks to work it all off!

Drakensberg Chocolate Memories is an absolute must stop whether the weather is hot or cold, and they also have ‘Berg Bean’ Coffee Shop in the same premesis – our daily cuppa!
